भारत में लगभग 3 करोड़ अनाथ व परित्यक्त बच्चों में से केवल 1% ही संस्थागत देखभाल में हैं, और गोद लेने की व्यवस्था इस आवश्यकता को पूरा नहीं कर सकती। आनंद निकेतन ऐसे बच्चों को एक स्थायी, स्नेहपूर्ण घर देता है जहाँ वे केवल पलते-बढ़ते नहीं, बल्कि एक परिवार पाते हैं। Of India's estimated 30 million orphaned and abandoned children, barely 1% are in institutional care — and adoption cannot meet this need. Anand Niketan gives these children a permanent, loving home where they don't merely grow up, but find a family.
